I want to
I want to go back,
Back to where neither of us hurt one another. To where our love wasn't bruised by ignorance. But instead sheltered by our warm embrace. Where everyday felt like a dream not a tragedy. Where our feelings ran ramped, not shuttered in fear. Where the slightest touched sent chills down our spines, not splinters to our hearts. Where tears fell cause of the love we felt eternally, not involuntary.
Can we start a new and reject the thorns that ripped us deep and ignite the flame that burned with so much heat.
