Your love is serpentine
Slippery and cold
I will melt that frozen heart
When all is done and told.
Beauty is hollow
When missing are hearts and souls
So let down your icy, stone walls
And let your body feel my own.
Taste my lips against your mouth
Just let our emotions slip through the surface.
No more grievances,
Simply give into my request
And I'll guarantee, for now,
--- This is for the Best.

We all have walls we set up in order to protect ourselves from the people who could end up hurting us; myself included. I hope that eventually I'll meet the right person to pass through my walls and vice versa.
