I am the night.
Stealthily slipping through the cracks,
Overpowering the light,
Haunted by the sounds.
I am the night.
Dark, blocking all sight,
Dangerous, when upset
The music and sounds wild.
I am the night.
The color of sophistication,
Intelligence, protecting minds
Beautiful, in my own right.
I am the night.
Passionately, covering up the bad with good,
Breaking in peacefulness while everyone is asleep,
Ending with every hour, closer.
I am the night.
