Almost Lost It All

We worked so long, so hard-
Together and apart.
We resolve all our problems
And talk each one out.
But we almost lost it all,
Everything at once.
Even though we persevered
Through many many months.
I almost lost you
And you almost broke my heart.
Your love is irreplaceable,
It would have torn me apart.
I never want you to be gone,
I’m so glad we didn’t lose it all.
