Poetry Gift
When I went on a car ride with Grandma Mickey,
I heard the wind whistling,
I saw the radiant sun around us
When I mowed with Grandpa,
I smelled the fresh cut grass,
I remembered the feeling of excitement
When I walked with Grandpa Mickey,
I tasted vanilla icecream, sweet as sugar,
I wondered if my life could be any better
When I sat on Grandpas lap,
I felt saf like under a warm blanket,
I discovered that nothing would ever compare
