I swing from high to high
My head’s spinning
Crazy ride
I dip too low
And die a little more
Inside.
Then get back on the ride.
I pull in the taste
Of something strong
Emotions churning
All night long
My drug
Where have you gone
Then I move along.
Thoughts are twirling
In my head
Remember every word they said
When I wake up
My attachments seem severed
I take something
So I can feel better.
Right now I’m a bit
Under the weather.
And now I know you’re gone.
