The author's comments:
My grandma moved from her condo to an assisted living home. She used to make the most wonderful canned peaches, like canned sunshine, but her memory is failing. When my aunt and I cleaned out her condo, my task was to drain the last batch of peaches, rotting because they weren't made properly, down the garbage disposal.
