you and me
You.
You were once I thought my friend.
You were what I wanted to see.
You were sweet, kind, a pretty face.
Me.
I was free, a bliss and glee.
I was fun, laughter and love.
I was brave, courageous I was me.
You.
You took it all away.
My freedom. My love. My laugh.
You left me broken
Hating
Screaming.
Me.
I was alone.
Mad.
Afraid.
You don’t remember you don’t care. I remember your hands so carefree. But me, no pushing away
You did not care what I couldn’t bear.
You left me alone and broken, crying out.
But me.
I am strong.
Brave, fearless now.
You broke me down but I have climbed back from the grave to the top.
I will not let you break me anymore.
Me.
You.
I am free
You are weak.
I am loved
You are gone.
