She whispers sweet nothings that make him sigh
Her varied interests no longer benign.

Amazing the marked parts of passing time
How it’s remembered. How it’s forgot.

How it is lived. And felt and seen.
What is accomplished. How it’s redeemed.

Her interests are sparking his secret desires
Never admitted, never going too far.

Amazing the cycle, of love and regret.
The false flying truths that aren’t meant.

The nefarious lies that spar in the dark
With the brighter truths within the heart

Without fear of neglect their lips met, Sending fate to spin.
To set up the trials the untried paths, the penultimate, weighty sin.

The incarnadine touch of her viscous lips, that vile smoking hold
The meek replies of passer by’s no one to be so bold.

If she so much as cried he never was to know.
She took it faithful, whereupon age goes.

The intricacies complete, Life was spoken.
She became a token.

Amazing the world is, a picturesque plan
The tried and true image of differences hand in hand.

She screamed a final resonance in the dark.
Those incarnadine lips left their mark.

Beneath the moonlight, upon the thrushes
The blood of red spills and rushes.

The kiss and tell.
The dying spell
The final farewell

Sacrifice.
