Flowers & Sunshine
On the outside,
She's lifeless and innocent.
On the inside,
She's a bundle of spirit, a volcano waiting to erupt.
Sitting on the sidelines,
Piecing together small, irrelevant details.
Just one tear can tell a story,
Looking inside, you can see the big picture.
Ever heard the expression,
Not everything is exactly how it seems.
Because running in circles gets tiring,
And you can't hide from everything that scares you.
This is the end,
Of my beginning.
Not every smile means happiness is present,
Not every smile means flowers and sunshine.
Rest your eyes tonight,
Dream and drift away.
On the outside,
She's lifeless and innocent.
On the inside,
She's a bundle of spirit, a volcano waiting to erupt.
