Time does fly
When you’re having fun.
It’s been a long race
Down to the final lap
Ever so reaching the finish line.

Amazing, unforgettable, exhausting,
In our four years.
It has been an adventure
Filled with experience and knowledge.

It’s just a count down
Only seconds left.
Time only keeps moving forward
There’s no going back.
Time is up
We have our final walk
We step into the future
With our past behind us.
We say our goodbye’s
And welcome new people.

The time is up
The new time is in.

The author's comments:
Freeze was inspired to me by my colleagues because I would always hear them complain that our Senior year is going fast and that we will hardly see each other because most of us will be attending different colleges. We would always joke around trying to freeze time that i dedicate this poem to them. I hope that this poem will help young students recognize that things change and that friends will always come and go. So try to enjoy your time with friends or family members because the time is clicking.
