Terrified
“Terrified”
Knock!
Bang!
Before me, of my “good” times
Flashed by
Now I know there is no true further life
The cold metal was pushing me,
Into the fog of sand.
While ruling my death sentence,
The soldiers just laughed at my slowed sobbing.
The fierce sun tore me apart
From the years of darkness
Inside the pit of despair
And
No future.
The sand whipped my hesitant face
With the fury of a thousand
Suns,
Granting me mercy
Against
What my future won’t be
Will I be gassed?
Or
Straightly shot in the head-?
Brutalized until I have no reason left to live?
Or Abandoned in the middle of the desert?
Just like my kin before me.
I am different,
Yet
I breathe the same breath,
Live the same life
And work with the same motives
But,
I’m not the one who is losing
Think-
Think of the ones who are bathing in lies
Think-
Think of the oblivious ones
There is a world out there
One that is masked with
fear
It is only a matter
Of
Time
We will be unmasked
And
Realize what has been allowed.
