You know it’s funny we
used to be friends. We knew
each other since before
we were even ten. Now
when we see each other
we pass like perfect strangers
as if we were to speak
there would be a certain
danger. It’s as if we
don’t remember. We have
forgotten about all
of our years together. Our
laughs and talks have long since
passed, proving distance to
be our point of clash. The
only reminiscence that
lingers about Is our
delightful yearbook. Our
memories are fading,
but the pictures won’t change.
Our yearbook won’t show the
ever-growing distance.
It includes permanent
marks that prove of our friendship’s
existence. Since we’ve got
nothing left to say. You’ll
become just another
stranger, as I watch our past fade away.
