“Your pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses your understanding. It is the bitter potion by which the physician within you heals your sick self, so therefore, trust the physician and drink his remedy in tranquility." - Kahlil Gibran

Your the angel that fell and broke its wing. Hurt once, you put up a wall and vowed never to let anyone over.
You are the knight with the impenatrable armor. Hurt once, you put up a wall and vowed never to let anyone over.
You are the rare flower that blooms from concrete. Hurt once, you put up a wall and vowed never to let anyone over.
You are the thread that cannot be cut. Hurt once, you put up a wall and vowed never to let anyone over.
Broken angel, Impenatrable knight,
Concrete flower, and Immortal thread, those who try to get to you, love you enough to climb over your wall.
I am the boy all alone. Hurt one, I put up a wall and vowed never to let anyone over. But next to me, behind my wall, are the angel, the knight, the flower, and the thread. Together.

This poem was inspired by my 4 best friends, who've been through so much with me.
