The music blasts through the speakers,
All you hear is the squealing of the guitar.
People shout, but nothing is heard
The growls that emanate from the speakers are too loud.
Moving,
Jumping,
Sweating,
Shoving,
Bobbing their heads to the beat.
Arms flailing,
Bodies bumping,
The Breakdown begins.
Fists fly,
Pounding into anything in their way.
They’re lost in the music now,
Throwing punches at whatever it may be
That lies in their path.
The rhythm then hits you.
Eyes see nothing,
Ears hear only the thumping of the drums.
This is a
Breakdown,
Beatdown,
So try not to
Fall-down,
And let the music take you.
