Friday evening, and I'm not asleep.
What keeps me awake?
A midnight peep.
I step outside, wrapped in a robe.
Hearing noises-am I not alone?
No, through the sky floats a song...
A bird-a sparrow-has been singing all along.
But where?
The sparrow's song drifts through the air.
But where?
The sparrow's song drifts through the air.
"But where?" I wonder.
I cant see it there.
Then, from the sky, I hear a tune.
And a bird's silhouette flies on past the moon.
