Crippled;
writhing in pain
and torment.
Alone in the dark:
black
red.
Cut with a knife
right down the middle,
torn in two.
This: the middle ground.
Between two extremes,
exchanging them
daily.
Exuberant, bright –
moody, depressed.
Crippled;
writhing in pain
and anguish.
Unable to differentiate
between the two.
Incapable of feeling this,
incapable of love.
Crippled;
writhing in pain
and confusion:
me.
