May I Die

May I die by falling off a roller coaster
So I may scrape my knees on the starry sky
Before I plunge to my death-
May I die by laughing so hard
That my muscles ache- and I can hardly feel your touch
Before I collapse to the floor-
May I die by bitter cold
Trenching through dead men and angels
Only to be shattered by warm fires.
And may I die peacefully
Dreaming of boats and sails
Only to be awoken to a better world
