Every day
I feel the pain
Of a whip on my back
And tears that rain
I've fought this battle
My entire life
The crime of freedom
And the reward of strife

Land of the Free,
Home of the Brave,
I will no longer
Be your slave

Because for me, and others, you see
We stand for two rights
