Ballads of concern
Of loss
Of love
You sing ballads of your want
For me
And you cry harmonies of despair.
I close my eyes,
And listen.
Thoughts ringing through my head.
The songs you sing
Are so beautiful to me
They take me to a place
A place where I am alone with you.
A place where I sit and listen.
To your ballads and harmonies of truth.
