Not Yet There
When you’re a teen
you’re stuck right in between
The life of a child is left behind
Yet life of an adult still out there to find
Where once came the joys
Of cartoons and toys
The girls mind now filled
With parties and boys
They will strive for an age
Still out there to reach
Whilst the worrisome parents
Make new rules to teach
Yet when they grasp there desired goal
Of age thus freedom and more to unroll
Will they wish to go back to life of their youth
What a shame – its just the sting of truth
