He's leaving!
No I won't let him,
But I have to.
I can't let him leave me,
But it's his choice, not mine.
I can't watch him go,
But I have to.
I can't look him in the eyes
And pretend to be fine with this,
But I have to.
I don't want to be some 15 year old
And my love joining the military,
But I have to.
I finally have him
And I have to let go.
I don't want to let go of his hand,
But I have to.
I don't want to kiss him goodbye,
But I have to.
I'm not ready to,
But I have to be.
