If time stood still, I would spend that month in utter bliss.
I would enjoy every kiss.
I Wouldn't spend my time being mad
or even think about worrying of being sad.

I didn't want a loss, I didn't want to hurt. I tried to block it out, it hit me
full on and throughout my body sadness began to sprout.
Time became my enemy and I wondered if this was the end of me.

Life seemed unfair and backwards. The knowledge of time ripped from my grasp. But now I'm sitting here waiting for a gasp where
you vanish from my mind. I'm waiting for my heart to become aligned.

With my choices I can change my life but so far I'm
