Night.
The only thing I ever wanted,
Was for someone to call to me,
And ask me what was wrong.
I don’t lie to those who ask,
But no one has. So I do nothing.
And I wonder why they don’t care.
Tears come hard. Icicles drip from my eyes.
I don’t have the ability to maintain equality.
Life isn’t fair because not everyone’s here.
When the sky turns grey so do you.
And so do I. Grey means stop. I don’t talk.
The evergreens forevergreen in the shade.
Class is death by powerpoint.
I sleep with my eyes open until I go to bed.
Music used to work. Now it works against.
There’s power in words but it depends who says them.
Please bury me without a fight. No one will mind.
Certainly not them. They pretended but never did. Mind.
