I held my breath
I held my breath,
As you took a step forward,
the soft touch of your lips pressed against mine,
Memories flashed through my head of all we've been through,
But all the good memories weren't there anymore.
The only ones left were of you and her,
You loving her,
Like you loved me.
My broken heart..
I risked my family and friends for you,
I layed my whole future on the line for you,
For us.
I stood there,
So tempted to let you back in,
And admit those three words.
But you gave her what we had,
And now your cheating on her with me.
I held my breath,
As you took a step forward.
But this time,
I pushed you away..
