I wait for sleep to come but it never does
So I pop this pill only because
I need a break from this eternal wake
It's 3 AM my mind is racing
I get out of bed and start pacing
The music in my headphones takes me away
During this infernal wait for day
I sit down on my bed and weep
All because I can never sleep
