A fluttering of wings,
To escape the past and present.
To risk the loss of everything.

No one knows why,
And no one knows how.
How his depression came forth,
Making life feel foul.

The author's comments:
This piece was written on June 3, 2010, with my best friend, Natalia, by my side. We had both undergone "teen drama" at the time, and felt we should vent. Poetry is what makes me and her feel relief. My best friend, Natalia, is whom I would like to dedicate this to. Natalia, this one`s for you.
