Life Is: Hugs
Hugs are my world sometimes
They keep me going
Whenever I hug a friend, it's like I'm saying,
"I love you! God loves you too!"
Then when a friend gives me a hug
They say the same thing back to me
Hugs warm me up
They keep my heart pumping
My blood flowing strong inside me
They inspire me
Hugs are like the friends themselves
The warmth that I feel in the hugs I get
Tell me how much my friends love me
And my friends love me a lot!
I try and pour that warmth back into
My own arms
But it's not just the arms that hug
It's the heart
The heart reaches out with the arms
They give half the hug
To comfort, or cherish, or laugh or cry
Hugs fill my life with a sort of peace
A glorious, radiant, holy peace
And I know that God
Is sending his love to me in every hug I receive
Life is hugs
Because they show me love to share again
