I am a book
Full of stories and tales,
From the houses of holy
To the depths of hell.

Let me tell you a love story
So that I make you cry,
Or maybe a thriller
To make you turn the page.

But someone has ripped my guts out
They don't care about what I say,
I want them to read me
Not to ban me.

And so I lay
In a pile of ashes,
Oh God, damn the book burners!

The author's comments:
Even though burning books is wrong, it is still someone's constitutional right to do so.
