We fear what we don’t understand
We pretend
To comprehend
What we see with our eyes
We say our fears are cries from children’s nightmares
Tales from day dreamers
From writers who desire to teach you a lesson
Or stories from leaders to help explain what they don’t comprehend
But where we claim are fears are from
Are really our mind’s tricks to conceal the truth?
A truth we’re unsure of and refuse to explore
