my eyes bleeding with the truth
i saw you fly and i
wept
now we've bourne our intentions
our dreams, and
like a child i cried for you
to come back
to prove to myself that i once
was
someone
now some other hand is mine
some other star in the sky that you've named
some other bird in a cage to see
to beg for me to sing
so
leave in a hot air balloon
your smiling brown eyes
forgetting me here
lonely
on blue ground
my heart bleeding with the irony
i saw you die and i
was
free
