Are these marks upon my arms a symbol of not being alone.
Your way of saying 'I love you'.
But really showing 'I hate you'.
Don't hold me tighter or I might fall
Fall to a never ending,harmful crawl.
Now the shades are black and purple.
When did things become so unsimple.
Tonight I lay so still.
Afraid of what you may turn into and kill.
Here I am, ready to go, I am no longer your personal doll.
For this doll has had enough and has dug this knife into someone who is definitely not so tough.

this was inspired by Edgar Allen Poe and the Tale tell Heart. also, for all the people in harmful relationships and finally get free. not meaning to go out and kill the jerk, but know that you are strong and can have so much better.
