The Great
It is the last hole,
all of the pressure
I could ever bear.
I kneel to line up
the shot.
Praying to god
For this one thing,
the most important
shot of my career.
I stand.
Breathing in slowly,
I align my feet.
I set the putter down and
take a practice swing.
I set the putter once more.
Swing.
Oh no,I yell in my mind,
It is going too far left!
Wait,what is this?
The ball is turning back
toward the hole!
It goes in!
I am overwhelmed with
Joy!
The excitement is unreal.
