Sitting alone in the silence
I pray and fear
Hearing nothing but pure violence

I sit by the fence
I only own sorrow and tears
My body is tense

If only my life wasn't a suspense
I wish you were here
Hearing nothing but pure violence

The windows condense
The time is near

In my defense
I have this gear
Hearing nothing but pure violence

Nothing is making sense
I wish this wasn't so intense
Sitting alone in the silence
Hearing nothing but pure violence
