Go Away and Hold Me

Maybe I should take a break
Maybe I should call it quits
Maybe I should close my eyes
And start to fall down to the pits.
Blood, swirling, calming me still.
I don't want to do this,
It takes great will.
To put my wrist in pain with a blade.
Memories dancing in front of my eyes.
Ribbons of dreams, just fly by.
Can't call for help, or I'll seem weak.
Slowly, I'll let my veins run dry.
Please go away,
As I cry.
But hold me close,
As I die.
