1.

The Stereotype

He lounges with the others
Wearing their clothes
Pants hanging low
Speaking their language
Sex, drugs, vulgarity
Danger, violence, war
Never letting on
That there might be something more

2.

The Storyteller

He sits in the center of the others
They hang on his every word
He tells them of
Things he’s done before
That he’ll never do again
Places he’s never been
Family he’s lost to drugs, violence, war
Never letting on
That there might be something more

3.

The Sage

He sits in his room, alone
Writing the things he’d never tell anyone
Of his time without
Family, love, home
Belonging, friendship, safety
One day the sage will lose the war
For he never lets on
That there might be something more

There's supposed to be a picture with this. But I could never get the guy I wrote this about to pose for me.
