I watch the waves go up and down
Making people smile and frown
Making the golden sand wet and brown
I sit here on my towel by the beach
Please leave me be
Go and play but please stay away from me
This is only a girl and the sea
I just want to hear your laugh
Go run
Go play
But please stay away for today
Let me be
Go run free
Al all children should be
Because all I need is the sea
Please go away and make me smile
Keep away for a while
