The Contingent Secession
December 8, 2010
Here, on this hallowed ground;
A great war was to be found.
Some said they fought for freedom;
Both were devestated at Antietam.
With Victory in sight,
they continued to fight.
It all ended with Sherman's March to the Sea,
and the surrender of Major General Lee.
A broghter future is set ahead,
But with it, our president lies dead.
So let us not forget, my brothers,
and we shall pray there will be no others.
