I Wandered
I wandered the world
Looking for my place
I carry drag my chains
And shoulder my world
I see the world
For all its beauty
For all its faults
Nothing is perfect
The calm after a raging sea
The rainbow after the rain
A life after death
An end with a beginning
I move my feet
With no direction
I look for faults
Within perfection
I want to see with eyes untainted
To view the world
From what others painted
To know the rawness of its beauty
I want to shred my chains
Pass away the weight
Just to live my life
And wander freely
