Humans are amphibous. Our spirit makes us eternal while the animal binds us to time.

Three brothers born of the good dark earth
Two for the battle, one for the hearth

Brother of the world dons feet of snow
Walks the bloody river, lost in the flow

Brother of the homeland strong and true
King of knowledge, beholder of the few

Brother of the lost and seeker of dead gold
Frees himself from the tyrants endless hold

Three brothers born of the good dark earth
Two for the battle, one for the hearth.
