I Can't Stay Mad

you make me so crazy
insane
drive my mind into the ground
knock the wind out of me
stomp on my fingers
and laugh all the time
but you always help me back up
without even meaning to
it's just on accident
and you still pepper me with steel words
but they don't break the skin
and you ask me
why I never rage and storm
I have so much reason
you admit
and I say
I have wondered that
for so long
and I have decided
I can't stay mad at you
because you make me
too
happy
