You never know when it’s a bye,
Or when to say I love you,
When something sad will make you cry,
Or when your soul is due,
You never know when something’s there,
That wasn’t there before,
That someone may really care,
Who you may tend to ignore,
You never know when to forgive,
Because you can’t tell time,
Or how long someone will live,
When the funeral bells will chime
