Traitor
The knife thrusts into my back
You holding the blade tightly
I would’ve never expected you
But you ever so slightly, snuck your way into my life
The traitor never detected,
Alarm must have been faulty
For I willingly let you in
Now here I lay
Knife wound in my back, vacancy sign in my heart
Never expecting to end up this way.
Next time I know not to be so foolish
and never trust a man holding a blade.
