Scorned by people and nature alike,
Plucked and pulled, coming back with a bite.
Growing with vengeance, thriving with spite,
My victims are choked without even a fight.
Murdering the favored roses and perfect pansies out off sheer hate,
So weak and precious are they........
Watered, cared for, worshiped night and day,
I despise them so.
Entwining them with my vine-like snare,
I am the lion, and they are the hare.
Sucking their nutrients and hopefully,
I'll keep some of that beauty, just for me.
