you hurt me
more than you know
more than anyone knows
there's pain buried deep in my soul
and you don't know
I wish you could help me
but you have problems of your own
if you talked to me
you would see
the stains of pain buried deep
but good for you I keep it locked away
behind an old brick wall
it breaks down only at night
where poems like this come to life
it's the pain that fuels my hand
and moves it over the paper
if only you could see the real me
but its a hideous thing
so i keep it locked away
for all those I love's safety
and so the pain is buried deep
deeper than you know
forever more the pain will be
buried deep within my soul
