Once you introduce yourself
to the devil
There is no going back
He's got your heart
your soul
your life
which he turns into a rollercoaster
of emotions;
devastation
depression
sadness
anger
confusion
ignorance
malice
He turns you into a monster with
Bloodshot eyes
A f***ed up brain
Memories that should be forgotten
And a messed up life
You leave a trail of devastation
Everywhere you go
So please
I beg you
to search
search for you soul
Demand it back
from the devil
please
take it back
please

The author's comments:
Poetry is my release of emotions, and when I'm unsure of something I look to poetry. I wrote this when I wondered if someone very close to me was doing drugs and I felt as though he had given his soul and life to the devil.
