I Once Danced With The Trees
I once danced with the trees
And frolicked with the bees
I used to flutter with the butterflies
Soar with birds thro’ numerous skies
I used to run through the forest
And collect its flowers like a florist
I used to play in the city park
Till the blue sky finally turned dark
The park is gone
The forest cleared
Nothing there
Both disappeared
I could have tried to save them
But I chose a different door
I once danced with the trees
But now neither of us dances anymore
