Leaves scattered smaller than you remember
Sky is closer up here with musty wood and the bite of uncertainty
Reach and pet the settling clouds
Rough gnarls of wood imprinted on your trembling hands
Feet that grip the branch and eyes that deceive
But you know you must jump
To see if you too
Can fly
