You held my hand and stroked my hair
You missed your bus, you didn’t care
You stayed with me, I spent the night
And I just felt that we were right
You didn’t force, you never said
The things that all the others did
And I thought we, could stay a “we”
My problems could fix perfectly
But now you’re gone and I’m alone
And I just wish that you were home
You held my hand and stroked my hair
I can’t believe, you didn’t care.
