I thought we would find a way
to be together and get through this
I thought we could work things out
But I was wrong
Everything I thought was wrong
I thought you loved me
You did, I was right about one thing
But now I have to force myself from loving you
I have to compel myself physically from thinking of you
You have to be completely departed from my thoughts
This will be the last time I write about you
The last time I write anything that reminds me of you
For so long I have written about you
But that now must stop today
My heart is splattered, I feel so empty
I have to slowly let go, and in the process I’ll be full of hurt
But that’s okay, because these feeling will soon fade
Once they do I can move on
